John Ayers, Jr. President/CEO
John has been working in the technology industry since 1991. His background includes Project Management, Business development, Lead Contract Management for technical support for 20+ small and medium businesses. He helped found two other local computer/networking businesses before starting PRONETS in 1998. His experience in business management, sales, and technical support helped create a firm foundation for the company early. He maintains various industry and manufacturer certifications for the products and services provided by the company. |
Tonya Reavis Chief Operating Officer / Business Development Director
Tonya pursued an Art major & General Business minor at Lincoln Memorial University for 2 years and then graduated from Radford University in 1992 with a B.S. degree in Art/Graphic Design and a minor in Business. Since then she has been involved in several different design related businesses including the graphic design/printing industry, Internet e-commerce and design/manufacturing business owner. One past achievement was the creation of a line of primitive soft-sculpt figures (the Appalachian Nostalgia Collection) which were carried in 300+ gift shops worldwide for several years.
Tonya has been employed at Professional Networks for 9 years developing and managing 500+ E-Commerce, Multi-media and Informational websites & domains, as well as creating & implementing search engine optimization & submission methods. She is the lead designer on the team. Tonya is proficient in the Macromedia Suite of Web Design Tools (Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Flash, Freehand and Contribute), CorelDraw, Photoshop, Photo Impact, Peachtree Accounting, Microsoft Word and other industry related software.

Mandy Nester Technology Solutions Consultant
In 2002, Mandy received an Associate's Degree from New River Community College in Marketing with a specialization in Graphic Design Communication. After graduation, she participated in the AmeriCorps program volunteering for a year serving Carroll County, Virginia by helping continue the growth of chillsnet.org. Mandy joined Professional Networks, Inc. in 2004. Currently, Mandy does most of the sales, search engine optimization, and managing the workflow for the web department as well as some design and maintenance on client websites. She happily presents to the public and organizations about web design and other services Professional Networks offers.
Mandy is proficient with Macromedia Fireworks and Dreamweaver, CorelDraw, Photoshop, Photo Impact, Peachtree Accounting, Microsoft Word, MS Publisher, MS PowerPoint, and other industry related software.

Kevin Brooks Web Developer/Senior Programmer
Kevin graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. A few of his past duties have included developing and managing new website applications, proactively ensuring website security, MySQL database administration, creating web-based customer service and marketing applications and custom content management system development.
His computer skills include these programming languages: ASP.NET, ASP Classic, Visual C#.NET, Visual BASIC.NET, Visual C++.NET, C, C++, PHP, JAVA, HTML, XHTML, XML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), LISP, Prolog, Perl, MIPS Assembly Language, Bash Shell Scripting.

Brandon Lanter Help Desk
Brandon atteded Averett University, studying Aerospace Management and History. Brandon received his pilot's license in 2002.
Brandon's area of responsiblities include website maintenance, mass email marketing, search engine optimization, email services, client training, and assisting clients in day to day operations.
Brandon is proficient with Macromedia Dreamweaver and Fireworks, Photo Impact, MS Word, MS Access, MS Excel, and other industry leading software.

Eugene McCurdy Web Developer
Eugene atteded Pittsburgh Technical Institute, studying Computer Aided Drafting. He received his Associates Degree in CAD in 1999.
Eugene's area of expertise is in the realm of Design. His other duties include website maintainence, mass email templates, and submitting websites for search engine optimization.
Eugene is proficient in Adobe's Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Illustrator, Photoshop and Corel Draw. Programming languages include HTML and CSS. He likes to stand in random fields in his spare time.

Michael Johnson Service Department Manager
Michael began his career with Pronets in 2009 as a Contract Manager. He fostered and maintained business relationships with contract customers. He also served as a consultant, as the main source of technical expertise and reference for his clients. In June of 2011, Michael assumed his position as Service Department Manager at Pronets.
He has 15 years of experience in areas including SMB infrastructure and solution design, Server and Server Technologies, Windows/Linux/Unix platforms, Secured communications and Networking, Provisioning for the Mobile Workforce, and Business Automation.
He is a graduate of Surry Community College where he acquired his Associate's Degree in Applied Science along with concentration on Information Systems.
He is a faithful follower of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and a minister of the Gospel since 2000. He enjoys life with his loving wife of 14 years along with his four absolutely wonderful children.

Starr Anderson Help Desk Manager
Starr Anderson has worked in IT since 1997, specializing in technical support and customer care. She has been with Professional Networks for over 5 years and has functioned as store manager, domain and DNS specialist, documentarian, dispatch and network resource manager. Starr’s breadth of experience across various operating system platforms and software suites as well as her resourceful, problem-solving nature make her a natural fit for her current role as Helpdesk Manager.

Dallas Vogler Support Professional
Dallas attended Surry Community College earning an Associate in Applied Science degree majoring in Networking Technology. He currently is a distance education student at East Carolina University where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology degree majoring in Computer and Information Technology. Dallas is a CompTIA Network+ Certified Professional and a Red Hat Certified Technician. Dallas joined the Pronets team in 2010.

Diane Jones Accounts Payable
Diane attended Lees-McRae College in 1988 & ‘89 where she received her A.S. degree. She came to Professional Networks in January of 2004, bringing with her 22 years of office/accounting experience. She is proficient with all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, reconciliation and customer service.

Mike Irby Support Professional
Mike Irby has been working in the I.T. industry since 1997. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional since 2000 with TCP/IP (networking) and a MS Small Business Specialist. Mike has 5 years experience in Enterprise environments, he owned and operated his own I.T. consulting firm in Austin TX for 6 years. He joined ProNets in March 2011.

Brandon Walls Support Professional
Brandon received his Associate's in Computer Science with a Major in Network Security in 2009 from ECPI Technical College in Roanoke. He currently has CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Net+ certifications. He is currently going back to school online for his Bachelor's in Information Systems. Music is a passion of his and also enjoys playing the guitar (preferably the Rock genre, not much into Honky Tonk or "Today's Country").

Josh Cooley Dispatch
Josh grew up locally and graduated from Grayson County. During his time at GCHS he took classes at the Career and Technical Education Center and received a General Business Diploma. After high school, Josh attended the University of Kentucky to study business. He has over 8 years experience in business management. The largest portion of his management experience being in telecommunications. Josh was a member of the start up managment team that established a local call center that emloys over 150 people. Josh finds every opportunity to support the fight against cancer and is very passionate about it. When he's not supporting Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society, Josh spends all his free time with his wife and their three children.

Terrence graduated from Virginia Tech with a double major in Economics and Political Science. He joined the Pronets group at the end of 2011 bringing with him over 20 yrs experience in account management, customer service, sales, and business development experience. His ultimate goal is to be a “beneficial presence on the planet” and in his current position, to assist in providing strategic direction and helping our clients leverage technology to help achieve their specific goals. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, riding “Liz”, my motorcycle, and just enjoying “This thing called Life.”
